Turmeric (also called Indian saffron) is a spice commonly used in Asian food and is the main ingredient in curry powder.  It is powerfully anti-inflammatory, an antioxidant making this spice a health powerhouse.

Most adults could benefit from the consumption of Turmeric.  Our lifestyles, diet, food, and environment indicate that we all have some level of chronic inflammation in our bodies.  That alone is a powerful reason to take turmeric on a regular basis.


What are the benefits?

The main component of turmeric is curcumin.  It is so strongly anti-inflammatory that it is as effective as some anti-inflammatory drugs.  It is also bioactive, meaning that it fights inflammation at the molecular level.
